LOCATION: This role will be based in Swindon, Wiltshire, which is commutable from Cirencester, Gloucester, Oxfordshire, Bath, Bristol, Reading, Berkshire, Newport, Cardiff
DURATION: 3 months
RATE: £375 - 410 per day

Outsource UK are actively seeking to recruit a Business Analyst for a three month initial contract based with our key financial services Client, that we are working with as a first tier supplier.

THE JOB:
Working as a Business Analyst on a key project, the Business Analyst will be required to undertake a variety of tasks including:

-Define explicit, quantified and testable requirements through the elicitation, documentation, validation, tracing and management of requirements
-The delivery of Analysis Practice outputs including as-is analysis, high and low level requirements, technical requirements and non-functional requirements.
-Provide analysis services to Analysis Practice defined quality standards balancing the trade across performance, cost and time.
-Maintain full traceability between High Level and Detailed Requirements and document as a Traceability Matrix. Accountable for ensuring that Requirements Traceability is fully documented as the 'one truth' and status and ownership communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
-Provide requirements consultancy throughout the project life cycle to ensure traceability remains correct and current.
-Provide timely updates to programmes and practice area for packages of work allocated, including initial and ongoing resource estimates, progress, slippage, risks, issues, and quality assessments such as peer reviews.
-Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the Analysis Practice.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

The successful candidates must have:

-Strong numeracy skills
-IT Modelling skills (Cognos, Hyperion or QRM)
-Experience of stress testing
-Relevant professional qualification in Analysis disciplines, such as ISEB modules/diploma, desirable.
-Proven experience of requirements definition on projects (within financial services preferable)
-Excellent skills in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct English.
-Good verbal communicator - listens, responds and questions appropriately. Able to challenge constructively and influence.
-Experience of working within Financial Services.
