Quantitative Developer - Front Office - Contract

Our Zurich based banking client are looking for a Contract Front Office Quantitative Developer to work on their sales and trading applications. This will be a 12 month contract, which is now signed off and live.

You will be providing quantitative support for trading and sales desk (trading floor); Further development and maintenance of Excel-based trading tools; Developing Server Side quantitative logic to support functionality of trading tools; Providing maintenance and development of interfaces to market systems; Generating product or portfolio reports based on historical data.

KEY SKILL SET:

- Experience in quantitative software development
- Good commercial experience with Java
- Familiarity with Scala
- Degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline; Solid mathematical education
- Experience working on a trading floor
- Knowledge of derivative instruments
- Good level of communication; Fluent in English (German is a plus)

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

- Familiarity with Python/C++
- Knowledge about structured products
