Quantitative Developer - Contract

Our Zurich based banking client are looking for a Contract Quantitative Developer to work on their sales and trading applications. This will be a 12 month contract, which is now signed off and live.
You will be developing quant services (software) to enable the implementation of new sales and trading applications; Integrating realised services in IT applications; Implementing the software infrastructure needed to support these activities.
KEY SKILL SET:
- Experience in quantitative software development
- Good commercial experience with Java
- Familiarity with Scala
- Degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline
- Good understanding of Object Oriented software design/design patterns
- Knowledge of derivative instruments
- Good level of communication; Fluent in English (German is a plus)
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Python/C++
- Experience with functional programming
- Experience with historical databases, financial time series analysis and back-testing algorithms
