Quant Specialist

Quant Specialist - Requirements wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Degree in a scientific or technical field, MSc or PHD is desired
- Profound experience analysing financial instrument data across asset classes in the Financial Services Industry, preferably in the banking sector
- Hands-on quant and development previous experience with exceptional analytical skills
- Knowledge of Python, Machine Learning, Data Quality & Backtesting
- Risk Management & Portfolio Optimization knowledge
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Acting as a quant developer who in addition to his/her development tasks can also act as a requirement engineer
- Leading requirements elicitation workshops
- Gathering requirements, proposing said requirements and validating them with stakeholders
- Evaluating the information gathered from multiple sources, segmenting high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding
