QUALITY SYSTEMS COMPLIANCE MANAGER

One ofEurope's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing organisations is recruiting for a Quality Systems Compliance Manager. Location North West England.

This is an excellent opportunity in pharmaceutical QA with outstanding career development and prospects.

The purpose of this position is to manage the site quality assurance/systems function in order to oversee the compliance of products with EU Regulations for Medicinal and Veterinary Products. Prior experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance (QA) and line management is essential.

Key accountabilities include:

-Maintenance of cGMP/cGMP environment.
-Responsibility for day to day Quality Assurance.
-Line management of documentation officers.
-Maintain the Manufacturing Licence by continued compliance with the current Regulatory requirements and the expectations of the MHRA.
-To ensure that regulatory intelligence is monitored in order to maintain robust quality systems in support of the Qualified Person release function.
-To assist with inspections by external auditors e.g. MHRA.
-Manage regulatory/quality issues relevant to new product introduction, including outsourced manufacture, preparation of technical agreements, documentation, compliance and compatibility with client and site requirements.
-To perform QP release of products as required.

To be eligible for this position you must meet the following criteria:

-Eligible to act an EU Qualified Person (QP) under permanent provision.
-BSc degree or equivalent in a science based subject.
-5-10 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, to include Qualified Person and QA experience.
-Strong management and communication skills.
