Quality Risk and Compliance Analyst

My client who are a global pharmaceutical company based in Irvine, North Ayrshire are seeking a Risk and Compliance Analyst to help develop and implement plans and measures that are aligned to the needs of their commercial department. The role will also ensure that long term compliance and risk management objectives are met and that there is minimum risk of business disruption.

The key responsibilities required for the Risk and Compliance Analyst is to be the site Point of Contact for Business Systems Shared Service, ensuring all site requirements are met, taking ownership of the monthly mitigation control reports and ensuring these are checked and approved in line with financial requirements. The role will also involve participating in Site Training and ensuring the Commercial department is informed and maintains compliance with current requirements.

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will also create and manage a Departmental Risk Register, providing leadership of all Commercial risk management, business compliance processes by defining and articulating sustainable site risk management policies and processes, providing training on risk management principles, tools and techniques for all Commercial staff and developing a robust operational business continuity plan for all departments and managing Change Control for the Commercial Department to ensure documentation is in place and compliant for all Commercial changes.

The Risk and Compliance Analyst must have experience of the business environment and an understanding of the Commercial responsibilities and accountabilities. A good understanding of QMS and how it can be applied in practice, strong analytical and communication skills are also required for this role. Any experience of continuous improvement and problem solving through delivery of appropriate O.E. technique would also be beneficial. In addition a previous experience of working within a compliance background is essential with a good understanding and delivery of projects through appropriate project management techniques
