Quality Manager - Welwyn Garden City

Huxley Associates is proud to be working exclusively with a precision metals manufacturer based in Welwyn Garden City who are looking for a new Quality Manager to join the team. The company supply into a global supply base with a number of blue chip clients across a number of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Electronic, Medical and Pneumatics. This is a company going through an amazingly successful time- in the past year they have doubled their turnover. They also have a very healthy order book going into 2014 which means not only large investment in new machinery but that they will also be opening up an additional new factory. Would you like to be part of this success storey? As Quality Manager you will lead all aspects of Quality on site so you will need a good all round Quality toolbox including ISO9001, PPAP, FMEA, PFMEA, 8D and 5Y. The company is also looking to get accredited to AS9100 so skills in this area would be desirable but are not essential. Most importantly you must be passionate about Quality are really want to drive change within a business. On offer for the role is a starting salary of up to £50,000 dependant on the successful candidates skills and experience.
