A position for a Supplier Quality Assurance Manager has become available within a global leading defence and aerospace first tier supplier. Supplier Quality Assurance Manager responsibilities include: Support the supply chain function in the selection and development of the companies Suppliers and sub contractors. Day to Day Line management of a small team of Supplier Quality Engineers. Oversight of Supplier Quality Assurance activities being performed by trained Quality Engineers including Source Inspection activities, Supplier Audits and Non Conformance Management. Coordinating and on occasion performing Supplier Audits. Ensuring the maintenance of the companies Supplier Records contained within our SAP system. You will have change management (organisation and culture) and people management experience with the will and tenacity to succeed in a technically and commercially driven environment. Ideally the supplier Quality Assurance Manager will have the required qualifications and skills: Engineering or Science Degree qualified or a time served apprenticeships with HNC or equivalent. Experience in a similar role managing a companies Supplier Quality Assurance group that includes Supplier Development activities. Is a trained Auditor with experience in performing Supplier Audits. Has a depth awareness of BS AS9100C requirements. Experience in line management responsibilities (Performance reviews / recruitment etc) For the right experience, candidates can expect a basic salary of up to £58,000, alongside a final pension scheme plan and a company car, alongside other benefits.
