Quality Manager (Amsterdam)

My client urgently seeks a Project Quality Manager to be responsible for the Integration testing of a major multi-site, multi-vendor, multi-platform Video-on-Demand system. This will require liaising and negotiating with the customer over requirements, defects, timescales and estimates. You will have to report progress of testing accurately and be able to present this effectively to the customer. The role is based on-site in Amsterdam, with occasional travel to other European cities.

Requirements:

- You will have strong experience of managing testing of big web-based media/content based projects successfully.
- You will have experience of working in a Professional Services environment.
- You must have excellent customer facing and communication skills.
- You have experience of working in a multi-vendor environment.
- You are able to direct a large team of Quality Analysts and take responsibility for delivering a quality integrated system.
- You can create first class Quality Strategies and Test Plans and present them effectively to the customer.
- You must have practical applied experience of running test phases in an Agile software development environment.
- Very knowledgeable and passionate about Quality Assurance
- You are a self-starter, able to take the initiative. Able to spot issues and get them sorted promptly.
- You must be confident, collaborative, flexible and commercially oriented.
- You must be comfortable with leading the Quality Team in challenging, demanding, complicated and stressful software development projects and environments.
