Quality Manager - £45-£55K

This is a senior position reporting directly to the GM and you'll have close contact with the UK MD. Responsibilities To manage and develop a small team of capable Quality Engineers and internal Auditors. Ensuring Customer requirements are reached and surpassed. To create meaningful business quality targets and objectives and to co-ordinate their achievements Maintain and improve the Quality systems to meet the IS0 9001 requirements. Skills/Qualifications Although experience is regarded higher than qualifications here, a degree or a relevant engineering qualification would not go amiss and anyone who has worked their way up through the ranks and still not afraid to get their hand dirty should also apply. You should, therefore, ideally have had previous experience at a similar level and preferably in the aerospace industry, but ambitious Quality Engineers looking for their first step up into management, should also apply. Good communication and presentation skills are essential. You will need to be a good team player but also able to assert your authority when and where necessary. You will also be required to travel, mainly within the UK and be flexible in both your working hours and approach.
