Quality Manager

QUALITY MANAGER

As member of the Project Office core team, you will be the leader for any questions related to the tests and the quality for IT projects (mainly software development). You work will impact any IT project in the world.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define & maintain the test strategy to use on project globally.
- Support projects in the implementation of their test strategy.
- Challenge projects in the implementation of their test strategy.
- Review and standardise the structure of our testing tool (Quality Center).
- Define and implement KPI in the area of tests.
- Manage initiatives in the area of provider's quality.
- Manage initiatives in the area of provider's productivity.
- Communication about initiatives
- Technological environment: J2EE, Oracle, SAP ECC & BI, WebMethods, Quality Center, Opentext

EDUCATION:

- Higher education completed, preferably with a degree in Engineering or Computer Science

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Test
- Strong experience in the area of tests for complex Infrastructure , "Software development" or "Software package customisation" Projects (5 years minimum)
- Ability to manage initiative in an international environment.
- Solution Delivery
- Thorough knowledge of the systems development life cycle
- Good experience in test coordination on a big multi-site project: test strategy, test plans, tests management, test campaigns coordination
- Technology
- Experience with HP Quality Center
- Knowledge or experience with such technologies (J2EE, Oracle, SAP ECC & BI, WebMethods, Opentext) is not mandatory but would be an asset
- Functional
- Able and curious to understand a new business
- Miscellaneous
- Strong leadership & coordination skills
- Several years of experience in an international environment
- Open minded and accepting challenges
- Willing to integrate in an existing environment
- A minimum of 5 years in the IT domain

LOCATION:

Paris region

Overseas travel from 1 week to 2 weeks may be required several times per year

Global comments on the position:
The candidate will necessarily have worked for 2 years abroad in English-speaking environment (we are looking for someone who is truly fluent in English).
We are seeking a Manager. This means a person who has leadership.
The candidate should have demonstrated its specialization in testing through a certification as ISTQB Advanced level.
Interview to Paris planned on 23, 24 and 25 June
In principle, you have a resume in English and one in French 4 pages max, but this rule is flexible.
