Quality Manager

LOCATION: Chapel-en-le-Frith

JOB TITLE: Quality Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary depending on experience

WORKING HOURS: (Core hours) 37hrs per week. 0800-1630 Monday-Thursday. 0800-1300 Friday. 3 month fixed term contract

THE COMPANY: Our client has more than 60 years experience in crane design and is now firmly established as one of the world's volume overhead crane and hoist manufacturers, growing 20% per annum.

THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the company as Quality Manager, initially on a 3 month fixed term contract, to effectively manage the internal Quality Department and define and manage key corrective actions and improvement projects, in addition to implementing a new, SharePoint based non-conformance management system.

Key Responsibilities:- -

Liaise with and provide support to the operations team with regards to the day to day and long-term quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities regarding all aspects of the business

Ensure adherence to all quality related standards and procedures
-

Liaise directly with key customers and external auditors where necessary
-

Provide customer, supplier and operational support regarding quality concerns and planning relative to the products
-

Promote and maintain quality standards at the predetermined customer and Company requirements
-

Experience of managing 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be an experienced Quality Manager with the ability to hit the ground running. You must have worked in a senior or advanced quality role with a strong systems quality background. Having worked within an ISO9001 environment, you will possess people management skills and have a hands-on and logical approach to problem solving, with the ability to report accurate audit findings and liaise with customers.

Previous experience as a Quality manager
