Quality Manager

Quality Manager with supplier quality experience for EPC construction projects is needed for a leading pipeline operator. You must have experience developing and leading quality management systems including KPI's, assessment plans, scorecards and procedures for oil & gas, pipeline, refinery, power plant, or heavy industrial construction projects. 2+ year contract assignment in Northwest Wisconsin with the potential for an extension. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with the Director, Management and Supervisory levels of a project team to establish provisions of quality.
- Development of Quality Management Plans and associated Assessment Plans for Major Projects.
- Negotiate with PM, and Support Group/Business Unit personnel to deploy standardized procedures and /or develop project-specific procedures where required
- Lead the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Lead Assessments of Quality Systems for contractor organizations: issue and manage NCRs as required

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years experience developing and leading Quality Systems / Supplier Quality for EPC construction projects in Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, or heavy industrial industries
- Able to lead Quality System Assessments and establish KPIs and supplier performance metrics
- PLUS: Quality Lead Auditor certification (RABQSA or equivalent)
- Strong project quality management experience including techniques & tools, principles and practices and implementation and improvement of quality systems
- Ability to apply root cause problem solving/process improvement techniques
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Degree in Engineering, Business or Quality Management or equivalent experience
- PLUS: Six Sigma, 8D, or PMP certifications
