Quality Management Systems Management

BACKGROUND

Our Central Government client is looking to take on a Quality Management Systems (QMS) Manager to work a 6 month contract based in Bristol.

The Combat Air (CA) Safety and Engineering (S&E) team is responsible for providing advice, guidance and assistance on all matters of aviation safety and engineering issues to CA Project Teams, including the development and maintenance of Teams' Aviation Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ASEMS), including all necessary Safety Cases. It assures CA Project Teams' compliance with the Air Operating Centres' Safety and Environmental Management and Quality Management Systems.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

* Carrying out a full review of Quality Management Systems in Combat Air to ensure that they comply with the ISO 9000 series and the DTECH framework.
* Assisting CA teams in implementing the QMS.
* Carrying out related tasks as agreed.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Experience in the RAF/Aviation/Avionics Engineering QMS
- Degree in Ceng/Ieng
- ISO 9000 compliance
