Quality Lead

QUALITY LEAD - PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT, QUALITY ASSURANCE, PROJECT MANAGEMENT

A Quality Lead with Programme Management, Quality Assurance and Project Management experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Cumbria.

This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK Defence Business.

OVERVIEW OF THE QUALITY LEAD CONTRACT ROLE

This role will be to co-ordinate and complete packages of work associated with the Quality Improvement Programme initiative under PULSAR. This will look at managing tasks to ensure they are completed and meet the programme schedule.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE QUALITY LEAD

- Educated to Degree level or have the ability to demonstrate suitable experience
- Preferably Chartered professional status through relevant management institute
- Previous project or programme management experience.
- Proven ability to re-engineer and improve processes.
- Experience of developing, driving and delivering change among diverse stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance Tools and Techniques inc problem solving, RCA, investigation, Audit.
- Understanding of Process Improvement
- Clear demonstrable evidence of Project Management and co-ordination of tasks.

The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District.
