Quality Lab Associate

We are currently seeking a Quality Laboratory Associate I for a 6 months contract position in San Antonio, TX.

SKILLS:

- Performs and coordinates chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, process water, components, bulk and final products according to established procedures and specifications to assure product qualify and regulatory compliance.
- Performs review and approval of test results for testing performed by other lab technicians.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Microbiology required.
- Experience with HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR is desired.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry also highly preferred.
- Candidate must have flexible availability to work any shift as the team members have a rotating schedule.
- Normal shifts for the mill are 06:00 to 14:30, 14:00 to 22:30, and 22:00 to 06:30. At times the lab personnel shifts do get modified to cover part of two shifts, however the above are standard.
- Must wear steel toed shoes, no jewelry, long sleeve shirts with no pockets.
