Quality Inspector Job

QUALITY INSPECTOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in INDIANAPOLIS, IN

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- 3-5 years of experience in regulated (FDA, ISO, or GMP) manufacturing industry
- Experience in performing quality inspection
- Basic knowledge of ISO 13485 MDD

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Inspects and reports supplied parts quality.
- Perform inspection of purchased parts, intricate first article parts and packaging and labels using a wide variety of hand gauges more complex automated inspection equipment.
- Initiate rejection reports for non-conforming materials and ensure proper completion of required documentation in accordance with departmental, GMP, and ISO requirements.
- Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production, Planner/Buyers, Development Personnel, and suppliers when solving quality issues and troubleshooting parts.
- Create and analyze quality reports and recommend courses of action regarding non-conforming materials.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 3-5 years of experience in regulated (FDA, ISO, or GMP) manufacturing industry
- Experience in performing quality inspection
- Basic knowledge of ISO 13485 MDD
- Experience performing dimensional measurements on a variety of parts

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2 year Associates degree in a technical field
- Experience with material systems, operating a CMM
- Certified Quality Inspector
