Quality Inspector II

Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for a QUALITY INSPECTOR II to join our client, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in Cambridge, MA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspection, sampling, and release/rejection of components and raw materials as per SOP's and specifications
- Monitor various stages of processing along with the appropriate paperwork in compliance with specifications.
- Maintain raw materials, in-process and finished goods retain storage areas.
- Frequent interaction with Quality Control, internal departments such as materials management and manufacturing support, and outside vendors required.
- Support of Quality Control operations by performing basic laboratory responsibilities including environmental monitoring, lab support, water testing, and sample send out to contract labs.
- Perform product and/or component inspections in accordance with specifications and SOP's.
- Conduct simple testing in accordance with defined standard operating procedures.
- Contact with outside vendors when necessary.
- Respecting the laws and operating within the applicable regulations of the places in which we conduct business, as well as our own Company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and one (1) plus years of related experience.
- Existing QC Inspector I demonstrating mastery of the Inspector II competencies.
- Direct work experience in a cGMP and pharmaceutical/medical device quality inspection system.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Effective time management, multitasking and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and cross functional team experience.
- Computer skills in systems such as Microsoft Word and web based software programs.
