ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Recent healthcare experience, experience in quality and governance in a lead role in the healthcare industry.
KEY DELIVERABLE:
- To support the Clinical quality & Transformation Lead in developing robust clinical systems and processes on behalf of Customers to ensure that patient safety, patient experience and feedback is a main priority in commissioning work, and across all providers and other contracted services, working with CCGs ( Clinical commissioning groups ) and SWCS in support of the agreed quality framework and strategy.
- To support the Clinical Quality & Transformation Lead in implementing new quality assurance frameworks and agreements, on behalf of customers, for commissioned and tendered services, including designing and running quality reviews of services.
- Regular monitoring of the quality of commissioned services. To promote excellence and establish strong working relationships with CCGs ( Clinical commissioning groups ), healthcare providers, specialist commissioners and other agencies to facilitate innovation and improve the quality of healthcare services.
- To provide regular quality reports incorporating interpretation and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative information.
- To provide quality assurance and patient safety information required, ensuring systems demonstrate robust reporting and accountability arrangements.
- Support CCGs ( Clinical commissioning groups) in monitoring, managing and progressing closure of Serious Incidents Requiring Investigation (SIRIs) in commissioned services.
- Utilisation of the STEIS electronic system.
- Working with the Clinical Quality & Transformation Lead and the Head of Operations in addressing concerns when required. Production of bespoke reports giving specific details of incidents and identifying common themes and trends.
- Contributing in the production of comprehensive regular quality reports for customers ensuring that provider performance information integrates the analysis of detailed qualitative and quantitative quality information.
- Provision of supplementary quality dashboards to provide an overview of quality outcomes, patient safety and staff well-being measure
