Quality & Environmental Manager - London - 6 Month Contract

Quality & Environmental Manager London 6 month contract 350 per day

Our client, a global leader in the Energy from Waste industry, require an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager with experience of implementing Quality Management systems including ISO 9001 & ISO14001 in the UK, to work on an interim basis of between 6 to 12 months.

Your primary function will be to implement, manage & improve the Quality & Environmental Systems & procedures within the company ensuring that the Quality Management Systems become current to ISO 9001:2008. You will report to company directors on the end performance & any needs for improvement. You will also enable management of the Environmental Systems to ensure compliance to the requirements of ISO 14001:2004. Finally you will work to ensure all QMS documents & work procedures are current & the latest issue, being proactive in increasing awareness & relevance of high quality within the UK company.

You should be a degree qualified individual, or have equivalent experience, with a proven track record in the waste management, energy or related industrial environment with extensive experience in Project Management roles & Quality Management Systems.

You should also be able to demonstrate haven undertaken a number of environmental programs, possibly also having worked as a Lead auditor. You must be able to work well under pressure either in a team situation or solo environment & be results driven, able to withstand the demand of multi-tasking responsibility in order to meet deadlines.

The opportunity is at a very high level & the Company behind this have a very good track record in the global Energy from Waste industry with proven success in the UK. Is carries a daily rate of between 300 & 350 per day
