Location: Letchworth
Salary: c£40K pro rata over 6 month initial contract.
Our client are a large successful defence manufacturing company.
They require a Quality Engineer for a 6 month period.
They will be responsible for the development and execution of Quality Control Plans (including physical inspection) to maximize customer satisfaction with the quality of delivered product. Quality engineering focus will be in the areas of Material Review Board, Internal and Supplier Corrective Actions, Internal
+ Solid understanding of DFX principals.
+ Experience with SAP or another MRP is an asset;
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Experience dealing with remote teams in multi-site environments
+ Proven experience in an electronics design & manufacturing company
+ Accredited Auditor Certification is desirable
+ FMEA
+ Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SAP, Access Dimensions
EDUCATION
+ Degree/HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline
