Quality Engineer Job

QUALITY ENGINEER needed for a three (3) MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Carlos, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
- Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Perform technical writing and revision of procedures.
- Perform assessments to assure compliance to regulatory requirements and participates in audits conducted by Quality Assurance, partners and regulatory agencies

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or related scientific discipline is required. Equivalent experience may be accepted.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the medical device industry is required.
- Experience in the medical device industry
- Experience working in a GMP environment is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Computer literacy, PC Windows, MS Word, Excel are required.
- A thorough working knowledge of QSR and ISO regulatory requirements are a must
