Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer - Yorkshire

Amoria Bond is looking for a Quality Engineer initially on a 4 month contract. Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer based in Yorkshire.

The successful Quality Engineer will have a solid automotive background including experience at supplier level, ideally Tier 1.

Main skills:

*TS16949 Auditor
*Working Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, trials, audits, PPAP, APQP, ISIR, 8D problem solving, Ishikawa diagrams and root cause analysis.
*Lean manufacturing tools- 5s, SMED, Hoshin and Kanban.
*Monitor Quality levels through various: SPC, First Run Capability, and Daily Defect Reports.

Main responsibilities:

*Control plans, PFMEA's, process controls
*Supplier and Customer PPAP approval
*Monitor Quality levels through various: SPC, First Run Capability, and Daily Defect Reports

Other requirements include:
*Degree, HND/HNC in Quality, Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering.

Desirable skills would include: JLR experience and Green/black belt Six Sigma.
