The Company:

An opportunity has arisen to join a global pharmaceutical leader as a quality engineer within their medical products and drug delivery teams.

The Role:

The Quality Engineer will be working with drug product teams and external design companies in developing device design control documentation and device control strategy documentation. The Quality engineer will also assist in the generation of regulatory documentation associated with medical devices, and will provide guidance to the company personnel on all DCoE compliance matters.

As a key member of the team the Quality Engineer will work closely with drug product teams and external design companies in the development of device risk management and human factors engineering documentation. In addition to this the Quality Engineer will provide support for the assessment and management of suppliers for device development and compliance issues related to the supply of device components.

The Candidate:

Ideally you will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, with a background of working in teams in the development or troubleshooting of equipment, devices or manufacturing processes by means of designed experiments and logical problem solving. Candidates who have worked on the development and/or documentation of drug delivery devices or complex electro-mechanical products such as mobile telephones would be preferred but anyone with similar relevant experience will also be considered.

As an experienced Quality Engineer you should be able to anticipate what information is required by colleagues and disseminate it actively and efficiently. A strong understanding of Microsoft packages such as word and excel would also be preferred.
