Quality Engineer

This positoins gives candidates the oppurtunity to be a part in the development of a new exciting project at one of the world leaders in medical device production. The successful quality engineer candidate will be keen to help implement quality systems from the very fist stages and have experience of the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

*

compiling the Risk Assessment of a major project as part of the Risk Management File in accordance with ISO 14971.
*

Ensuring compliance to internal standards that support accreditation to ISO 13485 and a registered manufacturer to 21 CFR 820.
*

Writing Test method validations
*

work closely with the design function to ensure that all design requirements are identified and met
*

work alongside the project management function to ensure that all project deliverables are met within defined timescales
*

carrying out general inspection of incoming goods and validation on prototype projects

key Skill Requirements:

*

Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
*

Competent at using a variety of test, calibration and measuring equipment
*

Experience with dealing with both suppliers and customers
*

A knowledge of the manufacturing environment (having gained experience of auditting) or from a Quality Systems administration or laboratory background
