Quality Engineer

Leading wireless telecom company has an immediate need for a Load Capacity Engineer for an office in the metro Atlanta, GA area. This is a 6 month contract assignment. Responsibilities to include developing and perform load capacity testing for wireless networks, assist in network configuration and installation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop load/capacity test plans and testing for the client's wireless network elements and Control Center app
- System installation and configuration setup
- Document load/ capacity test results from system testing performed
- Analyzes and present of results of testing performed

REQUIREMENTS

- BSEE
- 5 years experience in test plan development
- GSM/LTE network knowledge
- Experience in establishing capacity/ load testing of GSM network elements
- Knowledge of load and capacity testing processes, tool and technologies
- Knowledge of some GSM network elements for voice, data and text (Packet core network, LTE, GGSN, PGW, Voice Mail, HLR, SMSC, MMSC)
- Knowledge of performance indicators such as CPU, memory utilization and how to gather
- Knowledge of various Operations topics such as VPNs, Load balancers, network routing and protocols
