Quality Engineer

Manchester based manufacturing company is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer who would be available for a 9 month contract. As a specialist manufacture of high end precision components to a variety of industry sectors we require a skilled quality professional who can lend their support in what is predicted to be a very busy period.

2012 has been highly successful with record orders placed which will see the business stretched throughout next year and as a result we are looking to recruit a quality professional to ensure standards remain high as production increases.

The role will involve:

- Implementing change to ISO 9001-2000.
- Development of new product introduction process.
- Introduction and implementation of improvement activities using FMEA and SPC techniques.
- Development of corrective action system for root cause identification using 8D principles.
- Modifications to the current Quality Management System.
- Supplier management where required.
- Managing internal audits.

We are open to the background of the successful candidate. What we are asking for is a problem solver, with a passion for quality and a successful track record of working with customers listening to their requirement and concerns and ensuring that this is covered from a quality perspective.

Whilst you will not be responsible for Health & Safety a general awareness for HSE procedures and techniques would be helpful.

The contract is based over a 40 hour week and will pay £27.50 per hour.
