Quality Engineer

Immediate need for a QA/QC Engineer in Milwaukee, WI. Qualified candidates will have a BS in an engineering discipline with preference to industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering. QC experience with a manufacturer or supplier is preferred; however, entry level candidates will be considered. This is a contract position expected to last 1 year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Will develop, evaluate, revise, and apply QA protocols to test and inspect in-process raw materials
- Ensures suppliers deliver quality parts to be used in manufacturing process
- Ensures processes are in compliance with company's QA standards and with government regulations
- Organizes, documents, and inspects QA inspection support documents and records

REQUIREMENTS

- Must have a BS in Engineering
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing practices, and quality systems
- Strong knowledege of statistical quality applications, metrology, and manufacturing QC standards
- Familiarity with electronic and/or mechanical components is a plus
