Quality Engineer

IMMEDIATE NEED! QUALITY ENGINEER Contract opportunity at a highly regarded manufacturing firm near Maple Heights, OH in southwest Cleveland metro. Projected 4 to 6 month assignment. Local candidates only. Start ASAP! Day shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Serve as Quality Engineer for all aspects of manufacturing production spending majority of time on the production floor
- Control and monitor existing quality processes and Control vendor quality program
- Evaluate and apply corrective action for production plant scrap and rework
- Evaluate and apply corrective action for production plant returned material
- Control gauging & quality instrumentation
- Provide support and guidance to QA Technicians

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum High School diploma with solid experience, A BIG PLUS to have BS/BA Degree
- Minimum 3 to 6 years Quality experience in a manufacturing environment , A PLUS to have worked with CNC machinists
- Full working knowledge of ISO
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
