Quality Coordinator Job

QUALITY COORDINATOR needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Emeryville, CA.

The Big Picture:

- Part time position: M-F 20 hours/week. Temp to hire, but unsure of the conversion timeline.
- Work in Tandem with manufacturing and quality departments.

What You'll Be Doing:

- The incumbent will be responsible for participating in Quality activities associated with Immuno-diagnostics products manufactured at the Emeryville site.
- The individual will provide support to the Quality Operations group through execution of quality system activities such as review of documents, maintaining GMP quality records, issuance of manufacturing records and coordination of quality activities that impact manufacturing operations.
- Work in Tandem with manufacturing and quality departments on the manufacturing floor to complete quality related tasks and to ensure that quality requirements are being met.
- Assist with the issuance of manufacturing batch production documents, including ensuring that all records meet quality requirements prior to use.
- Coordinate the collection and review of GMP quality records such as Logbooks and miscellaneous forms.
- Perform data integrity reviews of records generated in Quality Control and Manufacturing.
- Perform manufacturing records review for the purpose of early detection of errors.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve Quality processes and systems using
- Operational Excellence tools (such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean), assess area procedures and practices and optimize to improve efficiency where possible.
- Support the monthly generation of reports and department metrics.
- Provide coordinator role assistance in other areas, as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree and maybe two to six (2 - 6) years of experience.
