Quality Control Technician

SUMMARY

- Inspection of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods using established test methods
- Calibration and maintenance of QC instrumentation
- Reporting of non-conformances related to raw material, intermediates, and finished goods
- Generation and maintenance of records related to product quality
- Housekeeping and safety of work areas

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related discipline
- 1 year experience in laboratory setting
- Experience in a quality control position
- Proficient with computers
- Must have QC experience
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good laboratory technique; follows established test methods consistently, efficiently, and accurately
- Flexible with the ability to multi-task
- Flexible schedule; willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to support production schedules
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Maintains neat and orderly work areas
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
