Quality Control Specialist

For a major international client in Lausanne,we are looking for a: 

QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST

to implement quality controls and reporting as well as to ensure that the Compliance requirements and policies are covered in our client's Software Factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Coordinate and follow-up the CODE QA and Compliance reviews with all concerned parties (ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE, SOFA SOLUTION DESIGNERS, SOFA DEVELOPMENT TEAMS):

- Provide unified Quality KPIs and communications regardless of technologies
- Implement and Coordinate code reviews with stakeholders
- Record defects/wrong usage/deviations
- Define and implement corrective actions with stakeholders
- Track and follow-up corrective actions
- Liaises with EA, SOFA SD and SOFA Development Center and support teams to ensure full alignment of initiatives as far architecture, standards and QA of developed applications is concerned.
- Deliver & communicate Groups standards for Development and Datamodelling regarding the following technologies:
- Java, iOS, Android, MySQL.
- Any other further required development technologies
- Work on the enhancement of the quality chain with Quality Assurance Management.
- Work on various operational tasks like Statistical Analysis of Survey Results and KPI management (definition, data gathering, analysis and improvement actions) >= for this year: define rules and tools

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- PROVEN KNOWLEDGE IN JAVA development processes
- Ability to develop processes and procedures for governance around the code quality reviews 
- Knowledge of IS/IT standards and best practices (Cobit, CMMI,..) in software development and project management methodologies
- PROVEN KNOWLEDGE OF SONAR in order to leverage the code quality reviews (configuration knowledge would be an asset)
- Technical background and basic knowledge of the following items:
- ECLIPSE
- HYBRIS ECOMMERCE (multichannel Internet,mobiles)
- APACHE MAVEN
- GIT (distributed revision control and source code management)
- ATLASIAN CRUSCIBE
- JENKINS (continuous integration)
- Open source technologies
- Data Bases: advanced user knowledge (MYSQL,ORACLE)
- Fluent in English both written and spoken

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT UNTIL THE END OF 2014 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN LAUSANNE. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
