Quality Control (QC) Scientist Job

QC SCIENTIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Suffern, NY.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Strong analytical chemistry background
- Understand and practice cGMPs and industry methodologies.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for the performance of a variety of routine and non-routine complex scientific tests utilizing laboratory apparatus, including the generation, analysis and recording of data
- Responsible for assuring adherence to Federal (FDA, DEA, EPA), OSHA regulations, cGMP's, SOP's, company policies and procedures.
- Perform tests, validate the completed work of others, evaluate anomalous results, and conduct laboratory investigations.
- Develop/review SOP's and perform internal training

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA/BS and/or equivalent practical experience; Entry level position for an MS candidate
- A minimum of at least three to five (3-5) years working in the analytical chemistry profession is required
- Thorough knowledge, understanding and ability to apply typical chemical analysis techniques (eg aseptic technique, analytical instrumentation), understand and practice GMPs and industry methodologies as it applies to quality assurance
