Quality Control (QC) Analyst - Biochemistry Job

Yoh has a long-term contract opportunity for a QUALITY CONTROL (QC) ANALYST- BIOCHEMISTRY to join our pharmaceutical client in the Holly Springs, NC area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The QC Analyst will support the organization of the QC Biochemistry laboratory and be responsible for method development and validation for biochemistry assays (protein content determination by BCA, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and UV/Vis spectrometry)
- Perform and assist in the method development and validation
- Author SOPs, protocols and technical reports
- Perform laboratory testing associated with development studies
- Conduct data analysis and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate and traceable laboratory notebooks
- Complete documentation in compliance with cGMPs
- Complete training as required. Support training of other analysts as necessary

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S. Degree is sciences, preferably biology or chemistry, or other related scientific field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Previous experience working in a cGMP environment
- Strong technical knowledge of analytical/bio analytical methods and related instrumentation (BCA, SDS-PAGE, ELISA and UV/Vis spectrometry, microplate reader)
