QUALITY CONTROL AUDITOR

DURATION: 4-month contract (W2); may extend, may convert

LOCATION: Ontario, CA 91761

CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

SIZE OF TEAM: 2 admitting managers and a project manager

HOURS: 9am - 5pm (with 2 breaks and 30 min lunch); flexible

ENVIRONMENTreports and proposes remedial action to appropriate management
- Ensures charity Care (MFA) encounters
- Prepares formal statistical summaries to department manager of findings and recommendations

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Admitting department and auditing
- Proficient knowledge of Mainframe, on-line computer systems, personal computers and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong mathematical skills
- Medical terminology and knowledge of medical billing practices
- Good oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:

- Prior experience in account payable/claims environment preferred
- Admitting department project manager or supervisory experience
