Quality Control Analyst Job

QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in LYNNWOOD, WA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Performs environmental and facility monitoring, including water, steam, compressed air, surface, particulate and viable air monitoring.
- Performs bioburden testing for validation and in-process samples.
- Documents all work in compliance with cGMP regulations.
- Performs general laboratory housekeeping, including equipment preventative maintenance, glass wash and pipette calibration.
- Performs SOP revisions and deviation investigations as needed.
- This position routinely interacts with production, engineering, validation and other QC groups.
- Aids in the development of test methods.
- Conducts preliminary data review and evaluation of results.
- Works independently under general supervision and direction.
- Performs work that consistently requires independent decision making and the exercise of independent judgment and discretion.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA/BS degree; Biology/Microbiology/Biochemistry or related science
- Zero to two (0 - 2) years of experience in a laboratory or research environment with standard QC Biology/Microbiology methods
- Experience with Aseptic technique

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working in a GLP, GMP or ISO environment
- Direct experience Quality Control
- Chemistry and/or Molecular biology background
