Quality Consultant - 6 Month Contract

The Quality Consultant is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of information services and governance processes in order to deliver high quality, consistent services to business, stakeholders and customers.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the development and implementation of information governance systems, objectives, strategies, programs and documentation to produce an information services, process and governance framework by identifying organisational and client needs, subject matter experts and industry standards, facilitating input and priorities from senior and line managers, and developing and documenting actions, accountabilities, performance targets and an evaluation regime.
- Promote a high standard of road information metadata to meet the organisation's metadata management requirements through proactive collection, management and dissemination of metadata such as a corporate data dictionary, information assets register, business rules repository, logical and physical data models, information lineage and data quality records.
- Ensure activities meet legislative and organisational Quality, WHS & Environmental requirements through the development, implementation, auditing and ongoing maintenance of safe systems of working and the application of appropriate procedures, guidelines, processes and practices.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Demonstrated experience in the implementation and documentation of MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the process of QUALITY ASSURANCE CERTIFICATION and documentation including document management.
- Understanding of safe systems policies and procedures, environmental protection safeguards and occupational health and safety practices in an engineering environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships, identify and develop strategic relationships and influence people at all levels within the organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and high level experience in consulting and facilitating groups to document processes.
