Quality Centre IT Systems Administrator - Banking Location: Edinburgh or London Salary: Circa £40,000-53,000 + benefits + bonus A leading global bank is looking to hire a Quality Centre (QC) Systems Administrator to join their growing infrastructure team that maintain and support Quality Centre users across the bank. QC is used as a key defect management tool and the administrator will be responsible for ensuring any incidents and problems with the product and associated services are effectively resolved. The administrator will also work on projects and in improving the service for the platform (eg they are gearing up for future upgrades to the platform). The systems administrator should have strong skills and experience supporting, implementing and administering Quality Centre (eg v9.2 or 11). Any experience working on projects and platform improvements. The QC infrastructure is on UNIX (AIX and Red Hat Linux) and Oracle so a technical systems administration background in UNIX/Linux and ability to work with Networks and Storage and Databases teams would be ideal. Any knowledge of Oracle (v10, v11) or Websphere Middleware is desirable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically focused Quality Centre professional to join a top tier global bank, even if the administrator does not have previous banking experience.
