Quality Assurance Technician Job

QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MEBANE, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Associate's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 3 years of electronic work experience with a focus on quality)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform tests on and troubleshoot assembled panels which include both electrical and mechanical devices
- Test electronic modules and set program parameters; use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (digital voltmeters), curve tracers, power supplies, automatic test equipment and tools such as torque wrenches, torque screwdrivers, screwdrivers, wrenches and other tools as required

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- One (1) plus year of development experience on the Android mobile platform
- Three (3) plus years of application development experience
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Understanding of fundamental Android application usability standards
- Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Flexibility to test equipment in all areas
- Significant knowledge of electrical wiring
- Successfully demonstrate applied -electronics knowledge through a technical interview
- Be able to set-up and use equipment; work alone or as member of a team; able to use measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, rules, scales
