Our high-visibility client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with hands-on UI testing experience. The role requires verification of specifications, strong QA processes, maintenance of testing documentation, and manually executing UI test cases. This position requires strong testing skills, ownership and some coding/Scripting ability. The ideal candidate will have experience in Front End UI testing as well as an end-to-end understanding of common QA tools and practices. We will expect the candidate to work both independently as well as in collaboration with the development staff.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Manual testing experience
- UI testing experience
- Shell Scripting
- Strong knowledge of QA best practices
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Computer Science Degree required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience testing mobile devices
- Familiarity with Jira bug tracking system
