QUALITY ASSURANCE TECH SEATTLE, WA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

Our client's cutting-edge Cloud Platform Engineering team is looking for experienced professionals to help build the world's premier cloud computing platform. The successful QA Tech candidate will possess exceptional skills in project management will be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities. Candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and in a team environment, and must be obsessed with serving the customer.

We are looking for upper echelon QA Techs capable of operating at an extremely high level in a Linux-based environment. Hardware Techs figure out the hardest technology problems, and build high quality, architecturally sound systems to execute on critical business strategies. They are expected to handle personal project management, execution, and ongoing support of the products they deliver into production.

The optimal individual for this role will understand x86 hardware who understands Linux interaction with the latest cloud hardware technologies. Our QA Techs are shaping the future - come help us make history!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BS or MA in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to analyze data quantitatively and use customer research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, and Excel
- Ability to think/work both strategically and tactically
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry computer equipment up to 35 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent project management skills, including work prioritization, planning, and task delegation
- Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools
- Ability to learn new tools quickly
