Quality Assurance Specialist Job

QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST I needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MEBANE, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology
- Two to three (2-3) years of electronic work with a focus in quality
- Ability to read and interpret schematics drawings and technical manuals

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Test electronic modules and set program parameters; use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (digital voltmeters), curve tracers, power supplies, automatic test equipment and tools such as torque wrenches, torque screwdrivers, screwdrivers, wrenches and other tools as required
- Perform tests on and troubleshoot assembled panels which include both electrical and mechanical devices
- Assist other quality control technicians and assembly personnel where quality control questions arise
- Train other employees as necessary
- Inspect, examine and observe for product or equipment defects
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Be responsible for receipt, diagnosis and corrective action implementation for all returned materials to the Mebane site; this includes the following: support maintenance and quality data input to key operations systems (Siebel, supplier net), drive Root cause analysis, corrective action plan development, & RMA analysis or internal MRB, coordinate and perform RMA/RGA analysis through testing and cross-functional investigations, be responsible for reporting and driving performance for COQ Warranty through PSS cases, cross train to serve as back up QC across the product lines as needed, perform other related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology
- Two to three (2-3) years of electronic work with a focus in quality
- Ability to read and interpret schematics drawings and technical manuals
- Knowledge of electrical wiring
- Flexibility to test equipment in all areas
- Applied electronics knowledge.
