Quality Assurance - Pharma - Artwork/Packaging - 8 months - West London

Global pharmaceutical client is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to develop and deploy the future state of the Artwork and Packaging Supply Chain. You will ensure processes and systems that are delivered are compliant with current GxP standards.

Experience:
- Degree in scientific or engineering discipline
- Broad understanding of GMP requirements
- Able to understand products and the effect of the quality of artwork and packaging on patients and consumers.
- An in-depth understanding of the quality implications for pharmaceutical printed and non-printed packaging components, cGMP and regulatory approach (eg. QP or training to be a QP, familiarity with EU/US GMP) and the impact on the business from a recall or poor quality
- Membership of Institute of Packaging/Institute of Quality Assurance
- Quality, Packaging, Auditing, Validation
- To have a full understanding of artwork on the end to end quality process
- Previous experience in a Senior QA role
- Technical understanding of artwork and printed packaging components
- Able to influence and negotiate with key contacts and senior stakeholders
- Able to accept and introduce change
- Able to work effectively in English.
- The role would ideally suit somebody with solid and broad quality experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer businesses. A good understanding of the End to End including Local Operating Companies, Local and Central Regulatory activities and site production activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Quality and Validation Master plan
- Help define the principles for Quality Assurance in the APSC including change control, risk management, Quality governance and auditing.
- Ensure quality aspects from the End to End supply chain are considered including the perspective from Local Operating Companies (LOC's), Supply Chain in all areas of the business ie Consumer Health, Pharmaceutical and Vaccines.
- Support the Business Process and IT streams as these develop through detailed design to deployment.
- Approve various stages of the programme activity from a quality perspective as it progresses.
- Be heavily involved in defining the Deviation/CAPA process for APSC
- Support all areas of the programme from a Quality and GxP perspective.
- Ensure deployment planning considers key risk to maintain quality and compliance.
- Guide the developing processes to ensure QMS requirements are considered.
