Quality Assurance Inspector

I have a position for a Quality Assurance Inspector that I am looking to fill ASAP. It is with a very exciting medical device company and is a great opportunity. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES * Failure to achieve results can have serious effect on business plan and company schedule. * Contacts are intra-organizational as well as occasional outside contacts with Suppliers. * Conducts quality inspection of components on receipt from suppliers per Vertos procedures/sampling plans for components and finished goods. * Conducts quality in-process inspection of assembled product per Vertos procedures/sampling plans for components and finished goods. * Reviews batch records for final product release. * Assists in conducting internal and external (suppliers) compliance audits. * Reviews lot history records, including sterilization. * Supports design control activities. * Participates in failure investigations and corrective and preventive actions. POSITION REQUIREMENTS * Ability to interact effectively with others in our business, within Vertos Medical, with our customers, and with others from outside Vertos Medical within the business world. * Detail oriented. * Good command of English language - spelling, grammar, punctuation. * Good English writing skills. * Multi-tasks and works independently in a fast paced environment. * Reads and interprets drawings and able to follow written procedures. * Current awareness of FDA regulations, QSR, ISO 13485 and MDD.
