Quality Assurance Engineer Job

QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Palm Bay, FL.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Interprets engineering drawing and specifications for writing CMM programs.
- Ensures accuracy of CMM programs to dimensioned tolerances.
- Develops, maintains and communicates reports from the lab to internal customers.
- Serves as resident expert on all complex mechanical equipment.
- You will be experienced in operating, maintaining and programming Brown and Sharpe CMM's using PCDMIS software.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI Y14.5.
- Computer literacy (MS Office) is required as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced CMM Programmer/Operator responsible for programming and operating the CMM and other measuring equipment.
- Associate Degree or technical certifications preferred with seven (7+) years of CMM programming experience.
- 12 years of Technical Experience minimum, required if no degree.
- PCDMIS software experience is required.
- Thorough knowledge of GD&T per ANSI Y14.5
- High level of computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, as ability to multiple task.
