QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER needed for a contract job opportunity with Yoh's client located in Watsonville, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute Test Cases, Automation Scripts for our large Retail Application Suite.
- Extensive focus will be placed on the testing of sales based software, Order Management, Ecommerce, along with their related Integrations.
- This position gives the opportunity to participate as a key resource on the project team creating the next generation Ecommerce sites for Retail and Wholesale channels.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- FIVE (5+) YEARS OF QA EXPERIENCE
- Firm understanding/proven experience with Software Testing principles, Methodologies and solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Write and maintain Test Cases and Test Plans.
- Perform Black Box testing, Grey box and End-to-End testing.
- Suggest and evaluate test approaches to Testing Strategies in the Test Environments.
- Debug issue encounter during Testing and in Production.
- Write and maintain Test harnesses and/or Automation Suites.
- Recent Hands-on experience with UNIX, and Windows based platforms, AS400 is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Automation Tools.
- Experience in testing Web UIs and APIs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Experience with any of the following: SQL, XML.
