Quality Assurance Engineer

QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER HILLSBORO, OR 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Our very high-visibility client needs a QA Engineer to work on a new product that includes client and 3rd party hardware and software. The individual in this position will be responsible for writing and executing test cases for integration testing of the entire system including: data collection hardware, Embedded system firmware and software, and system software.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5+ years experience in validating hardware + software systems
- Extensive product QA experience, including writing test plans, test cases, and integration validation
- Experience working under the Agile development methodology
- Ability to develop test cases and/or acceptance criteria
- Experience testing hardware, firmware, and software
- Experience testing integrated systems
- Local candidates only

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Experience in industrial control systems
- Quality Assurance tracking tools like Quality Center, JIRA, etc.
- Software or hardware development experience
