Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is seeking innovative, results-oriented, QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEERS who are driven to test software and automate the processes that ensure the quality of code for websites, applications, and services. You will have the opportunity to influence the product testing and automation of new latest technologies. This is a hands-on position and will include working with the product owners, developers, operations and other test personnel to produce and automate an extensive range of complex test cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual to have an impact in this rapidly growing business unit.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum three years relative experience in software testing
- Experience supporting web applications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Experience in software testing methodologies and best practices
- Must have experience producing detailed test plans, test cases, and putting a web-based product through a full release cycle

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working on multi-tiered complex web applications
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Database experience
- Ability to create, maintain, and verify sets of test data
- Experience within a UNIX environment
- Knowledge in automating test cases
- Programming skills in Java
- Exceptional visual acuity and an eye for detail to ensure conformance to a pre-defined set of UI requirements

This contract assignment is expected to be 2 months in duration.
