Quality Assurance Engineer

Our high-visibility client's Cloud Drive Team is looking for a highly skilled QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER who is passionate about creating the absolute best customer experience for digital media customers. As a key member of the Cloud Drive team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and build a brand new product based on this client's Cloud Drive technology. For this role, the top priority is the customer experience and you will be pushed to think first from the customer's perspective and identify and solve the business and technical problems that will enable amazement and delight digital media customers. Consider the challenges you personally face today. Do you find it challenging to keep track of all of your digital collections? Should it be easier to access your Photos using browser, or on your laptop, cell phone and e-reader device? What does the perfect solution look like? In this role you will have the opportunity to tackle these questions. You will help the team build new products which will change the way customers store and access their digital libraries.

QA teams are responsible for design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of test automation systems, the creation of software tools used to perform build verification and regression tests, and driving quality-centric methodologies in the software development process. You will be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up like environment where agile development is embraced and innovation is encouraged. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Expertise in software quality and testing methodologies
- Expertise in test automation tools
- Experience with Test Design Patterns
- Experience with automation using Java, C#, C++
- Strong working knowledge of operating system fundamentals
- Relentless customer focus
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Experience with testing methodologies for consumer devices
- Experience developing or testing database systems
- Experience developing or testing operating systems
- Experience developing or testing storage systems

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
