Quality Assurance Engineer

*PART TIME OPPORTUNITY*

As a QAE you will apply your knowledge of software applications, software development, and quality assurance practices to ensure that client developed at the company's on demand video services are of the highest quality, meet all target requirements, and produce a superior customer experience. Your vision encompasses both driving development processes that minimize defect introduction, as well as creation and execution of testing regimens to uncover and troubleshoot defects that are present.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Requires a B.S. degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Requires prior experience in QA testing or relevant engineering work experience
- Must be able to create test plans with guidance from more senior engineers
- Must have a basic knowledge of software architecture and the software development life cycle
- Must have a keen eye for video defects such as jitter, frame drop and color space issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2 or more years of QA experience preferred
- Background in video quality or video engineering preferred

This is a part time contract position.
